Leapster games apply learning concepts to games. My girlfriends daughter enjoyed this game. Good graphics and sound.
This game really is so fun for girls and I love that she is actually learning something while she's playing instead of just staring at a screen or playing with something that isn't very stimulating. I like that you can choose which level you want to play each game, so it can be played at many different learning stages. She doesn't really know how to play the games yet, but she loves the princess characters and she is quite entertained by it as well. She loves princesses, so this game was perfect for her. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone. Right now she is just learning how to put letter sounds together to read simple words, but eventually when she can read more words she will be able to do the more difficult levels.
We have only had our Leapster for a few months, but it has been such a great learning tool and fun activity - I just wish we bought it and the Disney Princess game a long time ago. I bought this game for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loves all of the characters and learning activities that it comes with. My 3-year-old daughter loves to play around with game on the Leapster too.
She is learning the correct way to write her letters, gaining lots of hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Definitely a must have for the princess fan. My daughter tends to give up when she makes mistakes but with this game she just keeps plugging along because it never makes her feel bad it just keeps guiding them forward. It teaches so many great skills and the best part is it is so encouraging even when mistakes are made. I bought it solely because my daughter loves the Disney princesses. I read the reviews before I bought this and they were not that great. Well, this turned out to be her favorite game and I love it too. The games are very cute and very educational.
It's fun for her and I love the fact that she is learning to write letters, numbers, and shapes. My daughter & I love this game. It's a must have for the Leapster 2.
Amazon delivered it on time. Great product, my niece loves it. The external cartridge games are great but it also comes with few games/paintbrush type programs that keep the kids busy for hours learning colors and shapes.
